COVID/Flu Cleaning Tips

With the continued concern of COVID19 and coming into flu season we should all continue to be diligent in keeping out client’s homes clean and sanitized. One of the most overlooked areas we miss when cleaning are often the most touched areas. At least once a day we should be cleaning and sanitizing these high traffic areas such as doorknobs, light switches, cabinet handles and if there are stairs in the house we should be cleaning and sanitizing the railings. According to the CDC “Cleaning with soap and water reduces number of germs, dirt and impurities on the surface. Disinfecting kills germs on surfaces.” For best practice it is recommended to clean these areas with soap and warm water. Let them dry completely and then spray or wipe with products such as Lysol or Clorox. For more advice on how to prevent you and our clients from getting sick at home, click on the link below.
